Your mission

You will be the core front-end engineer of our end-to-end NLP platform deepset Cloud.
​We are actively working on adding amazing new features to our product such as real-time collaboration, data visualizations, and a drag&drop visualizer with much more exciting work to follow allowing you to have a real impact on the look and feel of our product.

As a front-end expert, you will be the sole owner of all front-end related tasks and work closely with our wider product team to help shape our product further whilst also contributing to the evolution of our design system. You will therefore be in a position to drive your area of expertise and contribute to the decision-making for the future of our awesome NLP product.

We are an open source startup that empowers developers to build flexible and powerful semantic search systems to query all types of data using our Haystack framework.

Your impact

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to build, iterate, and ship new features to enhance the deepset cloud experience
• Develop high-quality, scalable, reusable, and customizable components that power complex web applications
• Drive software engineering best practices, focus on customer oriented solutions, improve CI/CD, documentation, and more

Your profile

• Proficient in JavaScript and have experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Our current stack: TS, React, Redux, Sass
• Understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns
• Familiarity with server-side web technologies (eg: Node.js)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD processes & tools
• Good to know TS, RxJS, Redux, Jest, Cypress, GraphQL, Webpack
