About the role:

We are looking for an exceptionally well-organized and analytical Content Marketing Manager to lead content creation to fuel our growth and amplify our story.

In this role, you will:

  • Tell the story of Datafold in order to engage, inform, and educate our prospects, customers, candidates and partners within the broader data community.

  • Deeply understand our category and our users and how to engage with them on their terms. Be the voice of the customer and use that to inform positioning and differentiation.

  • Build the content marketing strategy and calendar from the ground up and own execution across blog posts, case studies, email, social, and more.

  • Develop the Datafold brand style and tone and set our content calendar cadence

  • Partner with the sales team, and build customer marketing materials such as customer stories, one-pagers and case studies.


  • Able to articulate the “why” behind your decisions

  • Great communication and story-telling skills, with the ability to empathize and learn about our personas

  • Previous experience building or leading early marketing efforts

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing or product marketing, ideally 2+ at an early-stage startups

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, excited by the prospects of building something from scratch
