This role could be based from Amsterdam or the UK.
We are looking to expand the Sales function for our Scheduling API product. This role would suit a technical person who likes to speak with customers and solve problems without being in a heavy sales environment. You will be supported in this by Support, Marketing, your manager & CEO
Our sales approach is to let the product do the talking. We provide high-quality documentation, and a fully functional developer environment and publish our pricing. You will be a responsive, supportive, and knowledgeable guide for the evaluation process and maintain the commercial relationship as they become a customer.
We are currently 100. inbound driven, with prospects already in an advanced stage of the buyer journey.
Progress will be tracked by sales metrics and personal targets set against monthly recurring revenues. You will be expected to deliver timely status reports and generate short and medium, term action plans to deliver KPIs and achieve targets.
Cronofy is a global business mainly inbound driven which means your sales activity will need to be organized around US and European time zones, we offer a lot of freedom and flexibility on how you go about your day.
You will have the opportunity to contribute your experience and ideas to team projects to develop and refine our sales process and account plans as well as work together with marketing, support & product to build a first-class prospect experience.

We can support a predominantly remote, office-based, or hybrid working model. We do really value face-to-face time and, where circumstances allow, encourage teams to spend regular time together at suitable locations. As our current Sales team are based in the Netherlands, it would be most beneficial if the successful applicant was based in, or within a reasonably commutable distance, to Amsterdam.

You will be able to demonstrate consistent success in a sales role in a target-driven SaaS technology business and talk confidently about what motivates you to continue that success with Cronofy.
You will be comfortable discussing HTTP APIs, reading and understanding code samples, and navigating API end-points with a tool like Postman. Whilst you will have the backup from engineering for detailed technical conversations, being able to be self-sufficient in the discovery and early evaluation phases of the buying cycle will stand you in good stead for success.
Over that time, you will have developed…
- a thorough understanding of Internet API technologies and how SaaS applications are built;
- a professional approach to selling through enabling success;
- an interest and domain knowledge of one or more SaaS sectors.
Clear and focused written and verbal communication is crucial to being successful both at Cronofy as well as in this role specifically. We deal with customers around the world through email, calls and video conferencing.
