Job Description
About carwow
We’re on a mission to change the way people buy, sell or use a car by creating the world’s best online car marketplace. Since starting our journey in 2011, we’ve grown to become one of the most trusted comparison sites with over 12 million active users and an ‘excellent’ Trustpilot rating of 4.7.
carwow is backed by some of Europe’s most respected technology, marketplace and automotive investors, with $55 million Series D funding secured in December 2021. Over 400 carwowers from 25 nationalities work with us in the UK, Germany, Spain and Portugal.
About the role
Want to work for the most-watched car channel on YouTube in the WORLD?
Well, carwow is looking for a dynamic full-time Video Editor to join our industry-leading editorial team which produces all content for the carwow car comparison website and its associated social media platforms: YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Tik Tok.
The carwow YouTube channel does more than 90M views a month (that’s more than Top Gear’s YouTube channel BTW). And we have grown our subscriber base to over 7.5M in less than five years since our first review video went live. Oh, and all this has been achieved organically.
We’re not done yet though! We want to continue our phenomenal growth and have a strong stance as No.1 Youtube channel for car content over our rivals.
You’ll be instrumental in growing our Youtube channel, ensuring our videos are fun, engaging and shareable using tools like data from YouTube analytics to tailor your work to our audience and improve the watchability.
Are you the kind of person with the enthusiasm and willingness to learn, who wants to join us on this journey? If so, you’ll be given the opportunity to make the role your own with the freedom to do what’s necessary (well… within reason obvs) to help us achieve our ambitious targets. Be warned: you’ll have to spend quite a lot of time with a range of amazing cars producing awesome content on them.
If you’re up for the challenge, and don’t mind joining in filming the odd drag race or two or having to work from the back seats of a £500,000 Rolls-Royce, read on....
