About the role

The Country Marketing Manager for carwow ES defines and executes the local marketing strategy & mix in order to achieve ES growth and brand objectives, in terms of messaging, awareness, and consideration. This role will be part of the Marketplace team, reporting to the Head of the department. Among the responsibilities:

  • End to end responsibility for success of any Sale Event
  • Lead on local CRM Tactical Roadmap (so CRM team can execute)
  • Lead user research and insights in the market
  • Performance review & brief on improvements of ES PPC Account
  • Identify new affiliate or brand partnership opportunities (e.g. Sustainability), set up and monitor tests and scale partnerships. Supply Affiliates with commercial insights, e.g. best selling models (if affiliate program grows, we will want to have a specialist)
  • Plan and manage the next TV campaign together with marketing leadership and external agency
  • Define and lead our PR strategy, working closely with our agency to scale our reach and brand positioning
  • Fortnightly syncs with Growth team and sharing market general updates in Growth standups and team meetings
  • Be across the SEO ES strategy, and follow up on progress and execution

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in marketing in a high-growth digital business
  • Proven experience in working extremely autonomously
  • Analytical and a great problem solver
  • Great at both setting a strategy and getting your hands dirty
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Strong eye for design
  • Background in automotive - an advantage
  • High ability to coordinate projects and stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action
  • Structured and organised approach to tracking and communicating performance
  • Adaptive, enjoys an ever changing environment
  • Fun, don't take themselves too seriously!
