Camunda is the leader in enterprise agentic automation, orchestrating complex business processes, including high-value knowledge work, across agents, people, and systems. By creating production-ready, enterprise-grade agents with built-in governance, Camunda uniquely delivers trusted AI agents for business-critical processes. Over 700 leading innovators like Atlassian, ING, and Vodafone, rely on Camunda to slash time-to-value from months to days, boost operational efficiency, and elevate customer experiences. Camunda was named a Visionary in the inaugural 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT).

As a fully remote, global company, we’re rewriting the rules of modern business. Named GP Bullhound’s 2024 Top 100 Next Unicorn list, certified as a Great Place to Work, and recognized by Flexa for true flexibility, we’re growing fast and looking for top talent to join our team. If you’re excited to do meaningful work and make real impact, keep reading, this role could be the one you’ve been waiting for.

About the Role:

As a Salesforce Engineer on our GTM Systems team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the systems that power our global Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions. This is a hands-on engineering position where you’ll design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that directly impact how we engage with customers and grow the business. You’ll work across multiple Salesforce Clouds — including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Service Cloud — and connect with key GTM platforms such as Gainsight, DealHub, and Clari.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, future-proof technical solutions, while ensuring governance, performance, and maintainability. You’ll also contribute to DevOps practices, version control, and testing frameworks to drive more reliable, efficient deployments. Beyond the technical work, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team where knowledge sharing, process improvement, and professional growth are at the core of how we operate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and implement complex Salesforce initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps, driving scalable architecture, performance optimization, and cross-cloud integrations.

  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Salesforce customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and asynchronous processing patterns, with a strong focus on scalability, governance, and maintainability. Implement changes across multiple Salesforce Clouds—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and others—as well as integrated systems such as Gainsight, DealHub, Clari, and other GTM or back-office platforms.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, future-proof Salesforce solutions; drive strategic platform decisions aligned with GTM goals.

  • Own and evolve system documentation, integration patterns, deployment practices, and testing frameworks. Contribute to version control using Git, manage pull requests, and ensure reliable deployments through CI/CD pipelines. Actively mentor teammates through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize processes across the GTM stack, champion best practices, and enhance platform usability and adoption at scale.

What you bring:

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with a deep understanding of scalable architecture, data modeling, and enterprise-level deployment practices.

  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (Developer II preferred), with advanced expertise in Apex (including asynchronous and bulk processing patterns), Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components. Proven experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integration best practices, and the implementation of DevOps pipelines. Skilled in version control (Git), CI/CD processes, and leveraging DevOps tools to ensure efficient, reliable deployments while effectively managing platform limits.

  • Proven ability to identify, design, and implement system optimizations and automation solutions. Actively tracks Salesforce roadmap and GTM Systems ecosystem advancements to inform technical decisions and promote best practices.

  • Growth-oriented and proactive in ambiguous situations, with strong problem-solving skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration. Thrives in fast-paced environments and contributes to both individual and team success across global teams.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with CPQ Systems, Hubspot, Gainsight, DeaHub, Salesloft or similar GTM Systems.

  • Hands-on, organized and solution oriented.

  • Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Javascript Developer I, Architect certifications, Experience Cloud consultant…).

  • Experience working in GTM Systems and Revenue Operations teams
