PR Intern

About the role:

As part of the Brand team, the PR Intern will support the day to day running of PR activity, supporting the delivery of the PR strategy to drive consumer engagement and exposure for our brands.

It is important that you have a strong understanding of the UK media landscape and influencers. You will have an abundance of enthusiasm and energy and be highly organised and efficient to respond to media deadlines.

A bit more about the role:

  • Manage Press Office - liaising with the media for proactive and reactive media requests, sending copy and imagery
  • Researching, writing and selling-in press releases to target media
  • Maintaining the content calendar for PR
  • Updating PR leads, status, and activity
  • Liaising with the Buying team to understand key experiences to promote
  • Using media monitoring platforms to keep track of coverage and support with monthly reporting
  • Sending regular coverage updates to the business
  • Keeping on top of competitor activity, media landscape and news stories
  • Arranging and co-ordinating experiences for press/influencer reviews
  • Collaborating with influencers and bloggers to showcase experiences
  • Helping to organise and attend press/influencer events
  • Managing admin tasks including sending vouchers for reviews, competitions and features
  • Updating press contacts on a regular basis
  • Help source influencers and capture influencer content
  • Sourcing/ researching requests for shoots and events

  • Understanding of UK media publications
  • Knowledge and interest in social media influencers
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to come up with creative ideas
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build great relationships
  • Passionate and enthusiastic

Desirable skills:

  • Experience or qualification in Public Relations
  • Experience/ interest in Influencer Marketing
