First a bit about the role:

As our FP&A Analyst you will help the Finance team provide decision support, planning and analysis for the Experiences segment of Moonpig Group which covers the Buyagift and Red Letter Days brands. We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to support the Head of FP&A in creating tools to deliver the output of the budgeting and forecasting cycles. On a monthly basis work with non-finance stakeholders to provide variance analysis of the key drivers of business performance and commercial reporting.

• Support the creation and development of key FP&A processes to support monthly board and leadership deliverables
• Prepare monthly performance reporting and insightful analysis on trends and drivers of variances
• Supporting the wider Finance team with critical deliverables such as audit requests

And now about you:

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and has the ability to identify and solve problems and have a willingness to dive into and understand the detail of the business.

• Relevant accounting qualification - Qualified Accountant, ACA newly qualified or 1+ year PQE
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
• Analytical mindset
• Exposure to an e-commerce or retail environment or listed group experience (preferable)
• Ability to create effective and credible partnerships by working collaboratively with stakeholders
• Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills
• Aptitude and desire to work in a diverse, dynamic, fast-moving environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
