Why this job matters

The People & Culture Business Partner for Digital Corporate Units and Data & AI drives partnerships with functional leaders across UK & India, translating business and function-specific objectives into human capital strategies. You will direct the planning and delivery of People & Culture programs and services to enable BT Digital’s success globally.

What you’ll be doing

• Partner with senior colleagues across India and the UK to align people strategy (Culture, Capability and Talent) with BT Digital objectives.
• Implement local and global people plans to enhance business success and provide leadership to senior colleagues and their teams.
• Deliver proactive, strategic guidance for organizational planning and development initiatives.
• Use data-driven insights to challenge and influence leadership decisions.
• Drive a transformational talent agenda to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent across geographies.
• Lead performance management and measure effectiveness of people initiatives.
• Support organizational design projects to create speed and efficiency.
• Coach leaders on people policies, change management, and leadership capability.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and functional leadership to prioritize talent needs.
• Mentor other People & Culture professionals and champion emerging People & Culture trends.

Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience of 10-12 years as People & Culture Business Partner in a complex, matrix MNC organization
• Strong understanding of People & Culture practices, employment law(India and UK), and organizational development.
• Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide insights.
• Persuasive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in driving cultural change and transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of digital business models and technology sector trends is a plus.
