About the OPPORTUNITY

We currently have an opportunity for a SHE Advisor based at our Edinburgh Parks, SA Offices. Reporting to the Safety Health and Environment Business Partner, as the SHE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing SHE advice within HF Sensing. In conjunction with the SHE Team, you will coordinate the implementation, maintenance and compliance of SHE processes and systems.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide Safety Health & Environment advice, in relation to SHE processes, policies, legislation and internal business standards.
  • Coach employees, supervisors, managers and other personnel, in relation to SH&E processes.
  • Ensure project compliance with incident reporting requirements, and assist with, incident investigations.
  • Monitor and analyse injury/incident trend data and implement/recommend actions to counter trends.
  • Support and deliver relevant SHE training and inductions.
  • Drive SHE process and system consolidation and improvement across the business unit and the SHE Central function.

About YOU

  • Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance (essential).
  • Tertiary qualifications in SHE or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in SHE, or experience working and involvement in an environment where SHE systems and culture is embedded.
  • The ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management.
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, in a way that generates business benefit, whilst maintaining key relationships.
  • Travel will be required to remote Radar locations around Australia.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences, is critical to this role.
  • A broad based computer literacy – intermediate MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
