Job Title: Project Manager – Turkiye Campaign

Location: Samlesbury with occasional travel to Warton

Salary: £54,793.00 – £60,326.00

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing, co-ordinating and driving project activities under a wider programme of work, including development of IM&T inputs to New Business bids and Campaigns, in order that they meet Customer requirements and can form a basis for developing project plans
  • Supporting the programme manager within all stages of the Life Cycle Management (LCM)
  • Effectively managing export compliant delivery of all equipment(s) required to be deployed as part of projects both in the UK and International space.
  • Establishing individual project delivery plans, actively addressing issues as they arise and efficiently communicating with all stakeholders such as DD&I internal suppliers, Shared Services, Export Control and both Cyber and Technical Security.
  • Generating & managing detailed integrated schedules using Microsoft Project, driving/monitoring and reporting performance to the programme manager. Identify & manage Risks and Opportunities to ensure programmes are in line with schedule, cost and quality expectations
  • Facilitating and supporting regular Performance Review Meetings with the relevant Suppliers and all programme stakeholders and ensuring performance reports accurately represent the current status of assigned projects.
  • Specialised in the provision for the business in relation to Project Management – ensuring through stakeholder management, the strategy aligns to the business needs and objectives.

Your skills and experiences

Essential:

  • A good level of experience in supporting the delivery of medium sized projects in a couple if not all of the Project Management skill sets.
  • Detailed information on skill set requirements in available on the Information Management and Technology Intranet site.
  • Experience in delivering / supporting New Business Bid inputs for New Business related roles.
  • Dealing with overseas export customers

Desirable:

  • Awareness of business unit policies and processes, including export control and security policies
  • Some experience of working in an IT Function and familiarity with IT trends and good practice.
  • Bid work and new capability development experience

The DDNI & IMT Team:

The Typhoon for Turkiye Campaign is a at a critical stage in its lifecycle where we need to home in on the detailed solution deign. This will require dedicated project management, in particular co-ordination of diverse and disparate stakeholders from both within the Company and Customer domains. This is the pre-cursor to firming up the solution design and associated firming up of the costs for the overall support solution. To manage, co-ordinate and drive project activities under a wider programme of work, including development of IM&T inputs to New Business bids and Campaigns, in order that they meet Customer requirements and can form a basis for developing project plans.
