Job Title: Project Lead

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £45,628 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and managing strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the supportability domain, engaging with various teams and individuals to align goals, share insights, and work towards a unified vision
  • Shaping the direction of work, developing comprehensive plans, and managing actions to ensure successful and collaborative outcomes
  • Implementing a tailored project management structure and governance framework to ensure the successful delivery of outcomes
  • Reporting in to the Strategic Planning Lead, providing detailed updates on project progress, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, and escalating issues
  • Developing and presenting forward action plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities, ensuring that the project remains on track and aligned with strategic objectives

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable Project Management experience working on complex projects
  • Knowledge of Planning Toolsets such as Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications with Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management experience with the ability to guide and influence

Desirable:

  • Recognised Project Management qualification or working towards it
  • Knowledge of In-Service Support of platforms
  • Previous experience working within the Submarines business
