Job Title: Payroll Systems Co-ordinator

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: £32,000 + depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating and Maintaining of Resourcelink Security Profiles, Tasks and Menus
  • Carrying out daily Systems Maintenance, Monitoring and clearing session locks and Password resets
  • Responsible for system upgrade, maintenance and disaster recovery activities
  • Reviewing and forwarding communication of Zellis release notes and downtime notices
  • Logging calls with Zellis, monitoring progress of incidents and coordinating with Zellis and the Payroll Team.
  • Ensuring that System change complies with the agreed System Change Control Process and that all governance requirements are met
  • Working with Zellis Application Consultants when necessary to meet agreed objectives
  • Creating Test Scripts, Testing Documentation, executing testing, delivering test results to the appropriate stakeholders and cutting over change to the Live environment
  • Responsible for any System configuration if new Pay Groups or tasks transition between payroll sites

Your skills and experiences:

  • Knowledge and experience of UK Payroll and working with payroll systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas, data and results in an easy to understand format
  • Ability to Problem solve using own initiative to streamline processes to meet business requirements
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English, grades A-C
  • CIPP or Equivalent Payroll qualification would be advantageous

The Payroll Change and Systems team:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the large UK Payroll Change & System Team based at Preston. This role requires attention to detail to accurately support maintenance and change of the Resourcelink payroll system.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on existing skill sets and to work across a variety of key stakeholders at all levels within BAE, within a diverse role.
