Job Description:

As a Data Analyst within the finance department, you will support Project Finance and the wider Finance function by improving data quality, standardising templates and enabling greater automation across the Project Finance Capability Centre (PFCC) . You will work with multiple stakeholders to interpret data, modernise reporting approaches and strengthen financial controls. Your role plays a key part in supporting AdAstra and wider transformation activity, helping to embed consistent processes and deliver high‑quality insights across the Air portfolio.

Core duties:

• Apply data skills to modernise PFCC data maintenance, contributing to consistent processes, performance excellence and robust data governance
• Implement standard data rules to support automation, ensuring stakeholder requirements are understood and reflected in data structures

• Support data ownership by reducing manual corrections, improving data integrity and developing dashboards that provide insights, improve performance and enable others to self‑serve

• Work across the PFCC to understand how data can be translated into meaningful insights that support strategy‑making across the wider business

• Ensure compliance with governance requirements and support internal and external audit processes

Essential Skills:

• Experience within a finance data environment with an eager desire to develop advanced data skills
• Ability to interpret data, generate meaningful insights and present clear outputs to senior stakeholders with minimal oversight
• Experience creating, developing and using PowerQuery and Power BI dashboards, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Capability to collate and interpret data efficiently, identify when processes or systems are not performing as expected, and take appropriate action to support improvements

The Air PFCC Data Function Team:

A close‑knit team of five within the PFCC Data function, supporting a wider Project Finance Capability Centre of around 150 specialists. The team plays a key role in enabling AdAstra and future transformation activity, offering profound development opportunities, exposure to senior finance leaders and the chance to shape high‑profile data projects across the Air portfolio.
