Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: From £40,748 – depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborating with a wide range of internal and external international stakeholders
• Providing key integration support for AUKUS Build Readiness
• Supporting the Project Manager with daily project activities
• Producing work packages for the Project Manager and wider Australian team
• Monitoring the Project progress and deliverables and reporting to stakeholders
• Assisting in the development and implementation of action plans to enable time, resource and process management

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Project Management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sharepoint
• Excellent stakeholder management experience

Desirable:

• Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. APMQ or Prince2)
• Submarine build experience or understanding
• Commercial awareness
