In order to support the Key Account Contract Managers, Airbus Helicopters is looking for a

VIE within Key Account Contract Management (d/f/m)

You are a highly motivated young professional or graduate and want to work in a transnational team of 10 employees responsible for the 40 largest Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) customers (civilian and military clients as well as all helicopters). Then apply now! You will support these contract managers in the management of their contracts and ensure customer satisfaction and financial profitability. Your key interfaces are: the contract managers, the customer's front office, sales management (parent company + all customer centers worldwide), and the Support & Services Regional Organization.

Definition VIE

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your location

At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Monitor the quality and performance of the business based on KPIs and support the definition/monitoring of necessary recovery measures

  • Manage financial commitments from contracts: support invoicing, monitor profit margins, and ensure cash targets are met

  • Assist the Senior Key Account Manager in managing a portfolio of major clients in component repair and by-the-hour services with complex contracts

  • Support the development of strategies in coordination with all relevant internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Program Support Office) for specific clients to increase and expand part-by-the-hour coverage and customer loyalty

  • Assist in pricing and proposals in coordination with relevant departments

  • Collaborate with the regions to support financial planning (Operational Plan/Forecasts) and pursue business opportunities

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Educated to Bachelor degree level (or above) in logistics, engineering, business or a related discipline

  • First experience in project management or working in multifunctional teams

  • Results-oriented and well-organized, you enjoy animating teams and developing solutions and action plans

  • You have international experience from your studies, internships or previous experience, which enable you to work with cross-functional teams from different professional backgrounds and cultures

  • You are creative and curious, you like to instill innovative ideas and new ways of working through digital solutions

  • Service and detail oriented, pro-activity, reliability

  • Communication skills, presentation skills, business writing skills

  • Good interpersonal skills, good team player

  • Very good English skills, both orally and in writing. German skills are a plus
