Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about software development and eager to advance their technical expertise.

As a Full Stack Java Developer, you will collaborate closely with our experienced team to design, develop, and maintain innovative software applications, specifically within the aircraft domain.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, including OOP principles, exception handling, and Java Collections.

  • Experience with Java Concurrency, Streams, and Functional Programming.

  • Eclipse RCP Framework: In-depth knowledge of the Eclipse RCP architecture, including its plugin-based architecture, Workbench, and SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit).

  • SWT/JFace: Proficiency in using SWT and JFace for creating rich user interfaces in Eclipse RCP applications.

  • Eclipse UI Patterns: Understanding of common UI patterns and best practices within the Eclipse ecosystem.

  • Modular Architecture: Ability to design and implement modular software using OSGi (Open Service Gateway initiative) as used in Eclipse.

  • Eclipse IDE: Expertise in using the Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and testing of RCP applications.

  • Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems like Git for source code management.

  • RESTful API Skills: Know how to use HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) for interacting with Git APIs, and handle authentication (e.g., OAuth tokens) and JSON responses.

  • Rate Limits and Pagination: Manage Git API rate limits and implement pagination to handle large data sets effectively.

  • Build Tools: Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle, especially in the context of managing Eclipse RCP dependencies.

  • Unit Testing: Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests using frameworks like JUnit.

  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.

  • Debugging Skills: Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex RCP applications.

  • Performance Tuning: Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for optimizing Eclipse RCP applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with an experienced team to understand project requirements and objectives.

  • Assist in the design and development of software solutions.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in software development.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
