Job Description:

The Ethics & Compliance Manager is a critical role and key member of Airbus China Ethics and Compliance. He or she serves as the Ethics & Compliance advisor and is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the Airbus Ethics & Compliance Programme covering Airbus China. This includes:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Ethics & Compliance matters, by providing guidance and support to all operations employees in China and proactively identifying, mitigating and reporting to relevant senior stakeholders on Ethics & Compliance risks presented by the operations activities in China.
  • Leading and executing the effective deployment of global Ethics & Compliance policies and procedures in the local context of operational activities in China to ensure compliance with all relevant anti-bribery and corruption laws and regulations (e.g., FCPA, Sapin II, the local laws).
  • Promotion of a strong Ethics & Compliance / Speak Up culture through strategic deployment and empowerment of the local network of Ethics & Compliance representatives and delivering high-impact engaging training and awareness sessions across the China operations employee population.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into potential violations of the Code of Conduct, company policies and applicable laws.
  • Perform the Due Diligence on suppliers (KYS) and customers (KYC).
  • Support to the deployment of second level controls, including corporate audits and risk assessments and implementation of related mitigation actions.
  • Contribution to the wider activities related to deployment of the E&C programme as needed.
  • Collaboration with colleagues from Ethics & Compliance and other teams (Human Resources, Finance, etc.) and internal clients, to proactively and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the Ethics & Compliance programme in light of evolving business and regulatory needs and risks.
