Mission Description
The on-site functional support service is for the Maintenance Data System (MDS), which is used in the daily Operational Support of an A400M aircraft fleet and is part of the A400M Ground Support Systems.

Tasks and Responsibility

  • Represent Airbus products and services in the scope of the job (digital tools such as Maintenance Systems) ensuring along with the Indonesian customer (TNI AU) their proper operation.
  • Act as a daily link with the customer to capture their main concerns and needs towards strategic evolution and features of the future digital services and tools, helping orient them to the customer effectively and efficiently.
  • React to crisis as presented by the customer or initiated by Airbus after the detection of an issue, ensuring reactivity and proper communication, and protecting/maximizing safety, security, availability and airworthiness dimensions at all times until the crisis resolution.
  • Provide active and helpful support to customer, representing Airbus professionally at all times. Collaborate with relevant organizations within the company to ensure the highest level of service is delivered in each situation.
  • MDS is the digital maintenance tool currently used for A400M. These would be the MDS related specific activities:

User Support

  • ISS (In Service Support): Customer Queries Management and Follow-up
  • Improvement proposals gathering
  • Procedure’s creation and update on the aircraft systems
  • Provide On the Job Training to the Indonesian Customer
  • Developing knowledge of routine support activities for IT platform. Act as a back-up for IT Platform Administrator.

Personal & Interpersonal Skills

  • Professional competency in English Language, both verbal and written
  • Good communication skills and customer oriented.
  • Intermediate verbal proficiency of Indonesian language to support communication with the customer (TNI AU)
  • Position will be based in Halim Perdanakusma Airforce Base - Jakarta

Professional skills

  • Education or familiarization with digital tools for industrial businesses, such as maintenance systems or ERP business applications is recommended
  • Maintenance, airworthiness or related fields background, knowledge or education would be a plus
  • Knowledge of the military aircraft regulations and procedures is recommended.
  • Understand customer’s operation and processes.
  • Experience in the IT systems management and related technical support is recommended
