Install harnesses and equipments to build the aircraft : Wires crimping, Harnesses connecting, cable routing, electrical bonding.
Use manual tools , machines and testing tools in order to complete electrical installation.
Within the scope of the A320 SA family, the Cross-Plant Mechanic position consists to carry the mechanic work on aircraft in line with the work order and special process provided to him
Main activities:
Install electrical equipment and repair electrical components in aircraft based on the WO provided by the ME
Conduct electrical inspections and tests to ensure functioning and compliance with standards
Ensure NC / QLB / ALB rework on aircraft in line with the WO and the AIPI/S
Ensure proper preparation and selection of appropriate tooling prior to the work on aircraft
Ensure tool box daily check twice daily and report any lost items
Take care of the FOD prevention on aircraft and highlight to the management any deviation or risk witness
Validation of WO and/or NC production tasks and/or ALB answering right after each rework
Open and close the IC and ensure the good respect of the procedures
Help the technical investigations with other support functions (e.g. MAP) and XP Operation coordination or XP ME
Participate actively to Production SQCDP meetings
Qualification:
Proven experience as an aircraft electrician or similar role in the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, and wiring practices
Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and Work Orders
Be fluent in English and technical English vocabulary
Work within production team and with support teams: have good interpersonal skills.
Report any issue to upper levels
Rigor, meticulousness, methodology, customer-oriented mind-set, manual ability
Ability to adapt to different teams, coactivity (with persons of his/her team or with other companies)
Have a strong sense of responsibilities
Awareness for goods, people safety and the environment
Flexibility in working different shift arrangements as required
