There is an opportunity in Airbus Customer Services to join the Operational Unit "Technical Data Support and Services", which works towards developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors).The products developed are AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), IPC (Illustrated Part Catalogue).

To deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it throughout the aircraft life cycle is our main mission, and is part of the airworthiness requirements. The main challenge is to define precisely the consequences of the design changes on the already published documentation and to understand the immediate impact on Customers operations, with the objective to provide customised documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration.

Experience Level needed: 5+ years

As Business and Operations Support the job holder will be working closely with the Head of Tech Data Airframe (SIDS) and with all global stakeholders across sites . will be responsible

  • Consolidate at SIDS (Tech Data Airframe -Global) level all local lines contributions to requests (not incl. In the dashboard) to support SIDS business decisions and reporting (e.g. for extraordinary financial items, objectives, top management requests, etc.)

  • Support the SIDS teams and SIDS in the follow up of “actuals” vs. above contributions

  • Create and deploy SIDS dashboard.

  • Organize and manage the bi-yearly TD Airframe managers staff executive meeting

  • Coordinate and consolidate bi-yearly the SIDS teams need for skills/competences update or reinforcement for potential escalation and action at SID level.

  • Follow up on SIDS Handbook consistency with actual way of working and suggest updates accordingly for SIDS Management team review.

  • Coordinate and follow up at SIDS level PPS and PDCA activities.

  • Ensure that corrective and preventive actions from KPI Reviews, Management Reviews and Audits are defined and implemented.

  • Set up and monitor a CSIP action plan

  • Support Service Level Agreement (SLA) establishment, updating and follow-up in close cooperation with Quality and the POD (monthly KPI review).

  • Create and update the SIDS Intranet Web site on AIRBUS|HUB Portal and Google Site.

  • Initiate and consolidate the SIDS weekly reporting.

  • Prepares communication marketing material (handouts and articles) of SIDS activities, for internal and external use.

  • Coordinate access granting management to authoring tools and training platforms at SIDS level and provide support when possible.

  • Provide support / information to TD and other parties for contract-related matters affecting the Airframe data products.

  • AOS Implementation at SIDS ( Global domain level)

Qualifications

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) degree or Aeronautical / other Engineering Degree with knowledge/exposure to Aircraft Maintenance domain.
