We are looking for a AEROSTRUCTURE Buyer to come onboard in our Operation & Procurement Directorate in Serge’s team : a team of 5 collaborators!

Your Mission

Within the procurement department, you will join an engaged team composed by 4 international members, mission of the job holder is to negotiate and manage Aerostructure contracts on various work packages (Engineering, FAL Support, Tooling & Spares..)

As aerostructure buyer, you will

  • Manage long-term relationship with Partners (Leonardo or Airbus ) for the complete product lifecycle (development serial and support activities)

-- Manage sourcing, negotiate contracts and manage contractual follow-up and execution

- Supply and Purchasing administration: ordering for NRC, suppliers performance follow up, SAP system update.

You will also lead a Multi-Functional Team (MFT) which is an important part of the mission, and leading also cost reduction projects.

  • Be actor for cost improvement and identify savings
  • Improve operational performance of suppliers (OTD/ OTQ) in close cooperation with our supplier officer.
  • Manage supply chain risks and opportunities with your partners

Depending on your level of autonomy, you can also contribute to develop new innovative solution for our customers based on disruptive bricks and/ or involve on our constant improvement of our process and way of working.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage internal relationship with stakeholders involved in the Partners MFT: Program, Design Office, FAL Operation, Supply chain , Support & Services, Quality,
  • Be actor for cost improvement and identify savings
  • Improve operational performance of suppliers (OTD/ OTQ) in close cooperation with our supplier officer.

About you

  • Degree in Engineering and/or business Chool
  • Proven experience in procurement ( more than 5 years)
  • Project management skills including experience of managing successfully stakeholders and business analytical skills (business case, financial, KPIs)
  • Proven skills in communication, customer focused and solution oriented
  • Excellent skills in Teamwork and transparency with ability to motive teams and manage conflicts
  • Open minded, willingness to learnt and be coached
  • Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus)
