HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
LOCATION: Home Based
SALARY: £33,000 - £38,000 progressing to £40,000 upon graduation
START DATE: 17th October 2022

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the UK’s largest autism and ADHD service. We are pleased to be recruiting to Healios Academy, a career development initiative and are seeking enthusiastic clinicians to join our team.
We have a large, highly skilled team who are home-based.
At Healios we embrace diversity and are looking for the right candidates who will help us in our mission of providing timely autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments and post diagnostic support.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Healios Academy is our in-house clinical skills and development programme. Through Healios Academy, we train healthcare professionals from a variety of backgrounds to assess Autism and ADHD using ADOS and ADI-R assessment tools.
This innovative programme helps to ensure Healios has enough clinicians to support our continued growth, whilst giving nurses, social workers, speech and language therapists and clinical psychologists the opportunity to train under highly experienced neurodevelopmental practitioners.
As a trainee, you’ll receive a high level of support and supervision to help you successfully complete the programme. you’ll have access to a mentor who will guide you through your early assessments and reports and help to develop your clinical skills. Upon graduation, you’ll be offered a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner role at Healios.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
First level qualification in Nursing, OT, social work, speech and language therapy or Clinical Psychology
Registered with a statutory body (HCPC, NMC, ACP, BABCP, UKCP, BACP)
At least 4 years post qualification clinical experience
Utmost respect for diversity, especially neurodiversity
Experience in assessing and / or supporting neurodiverse CYP and / or adults
NHS experience
A professional home working environment

PRE- EMPLOYMENT CHECKS
As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check will be required. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
