Acquisition Integration Manager
Job Description
Flipdish is growing at an exceptional rate - we tripled our size in 2020; we have grown predominantly through organic means until now and we see opportunities for inorganic growth through acquisitions. This role will be critical in planning and executing the smooth and efficient transition and integration of acquired businesses into Flipdish and delivering value from every transaction we do.
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for planning and managing the execution of the integration of acquired businesses into Flipdish. You will build a strong internal network, understand Flipdish’s core processes and engage with the wider business to ensure integrations are smooth and efficient; you will operate enterprise-wide and build up knowledge in areas critical to the integration. You will also be responsible for the successful delivery of value creation initiatives from the deals we do.
We need someone who can:
- Identify the key drivers of successful deal execution during the pre-deal phase
- Identify value creation opportunities from a transaction and plan how to realise them
- Oversee and be accountable for the delivery of enterprise-wide integrations helping workstreams deliver their objectives and outputs
- Build strong internal relationships with key members of the Flipdish team
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in the businesses we acquire to facilitate smooth transitions
- Be organised and tenacious to execute effectively during the integration and deliver value from the deals we do
- Get their hands dirty solve problems
- Communicate effectively providing visibility on progress, risks, dependencies, and celebrating success
- Operate enterprise wide being able to learn and develop a good understanding of how the business works
The ideal candidate will likely have:
- The ability to operate both commercially and operationally to drive and deliver enterprise-wide projects
- Experience working in fast-paced entrepreneurial environments
- Demonstrable ability of delivering complex, technology enabled projects, coordinating and organising multiple workstreams
- Knowledge of how SaaS businesses work
- Knowledge and experience of acquisitions and integrations
- Ability to keep all the plates spinning, working on multiple deals at different stages in parallel
- Great interpersonal, stakeholder management and communication skills, communicating to all levels of the organisation
- Ambitious, curious and tenacious, someone who sets high standards for themselves and others
- Desire to learn and grow to achieve your full potential
