FINANCE

We're a global team with a presence in all of our locations around the world. Our biggest teams are based in the UK and Portugal. Our team in Porto focuses on financial reporting and operations, while the Group Finance team in London is made up of Corporate Development, Tax, Treasury and Commercial Finance. All of our teams play an instrumental role within the business, from developing best practice, delivering strategic projects and helping us to tell our story with data.

LONDON

Our office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub. With an open-plan space, ideal for collaborative working, an outdoor terrace for a team lunch, or a dedicated studio for a yoga class.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting newly created role for an ambitious Finance professional to partner with a fast growing, strategically significant area of the business. Fulfilment by Farfetch is the global operations network being developed by Farfetch in order to support the ambitious plans of our digital platform, brand platform and in-store businesses. This is a hugely varied role working within a complex area of the business to partner on the strategy planning and execution to our goals both in the short and long-term. This person will be highly solution oriented and an expert at adapting to an ambiguous and changing environment with a track record of demonstrating high emotional intelligence to build and manage relationships with stakeholders in Senior Leadership teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Support the senior Commercial Manager in internal reporting for the global locations, bridging operational metrics with financial reporting and bringing the numbers to life with clarity and in line with agreed upon KPIs
  • Attend and support weekly & monthly finance reviews with all 3PL suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Create robust budgets and re-forecasts along with flex mechanisms.
  • Assist and business partner the global operations teams in understanding costs.
  • Reconcile weekly flash and estimates to the monthly GL ledgers. Understand, highlight the variances and provide commentary.
  • Assist the accounting teams with relevant accruals and prepayments.
  • Own the operational expenditure PO process for all global sites.
  • Challenging the operational teams to improve performance via regular focused reporting of key financial and key performance information.
  • Create and maintain cost trackers for all project and capital expenditure costs.
  • Support the full lifecycle of automation, benefits tracking, business case development, and monitor expense spend against the allocated capital budget.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
  • Experience working with 3PL providers, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing preferred
  • SAP knowledge advantageous
  • You have proven commercial awareness and business acumen
  • You have an understanding of warehouse and supply chain operations.
  • You can operate in ambiguous and changing situations to deliver on the right results
  • You are a proven team player with the ability to interact with those outside of the Finance teams to deliver preferred outcomes
