An early pioneer in positively disrupting the world of recruitment as we know it, Troi is now taking the “embedded hiring” world by storm with HQ’s in both London and New York. After a very successful year, we are looking to continue to grow our team with the addition of lead technical or commercial recruiters.
Troi’s model combines the benefit of an internal recruiter coupled with the benefits of an agency behind the scenes. Making the hires is just part of what we do (though a very important part, obviously). Ultimately we’re an end-to-end recruitment service providing the superior talent solution to scaling businesses across the globe. Think recruitment-as-a-service.
We don’t think of our clients as “clients” , we prefer the term “partners”. Our partners, a bit like our Troi employees, are from a variety of backgrounds. We work with tech scale-ups start-ups and enterprise companies such as Miro, CUDOS and Epic Games.
You’ll have the opportunity to sit on-site (virtually) with our clients acting as the expert on everything talent. You'll be expected to have rounded experience across the recruitment life cycle, experience in people and stakeholder management and be ready to make our partners experience seamlessly unforgettable.
The Role: Talent Lead. The Talent Lead at Troi is hands-on managerial role, responsible for delivery and leading a team of commercial or tech Talent Acquisition Managers.
What are we looking for?
Experience working within an internal recruitment function or an embedded model and/or experience in a staffing/recruitment agency.
Solid stakeholder management with the ability to positively challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
Strong communicator, who can have difficult conversations in a pragmatic and mature manner
Experienced people manager within a recruitment setting.
Ability to multitask: TL’s are often pulled in multiple directions.
Problem solver - can help diffuse tricky situations and/or suggest solutions.
Creative sourcing abilities.
Expertise in utilising data to improve and identify opportunities to grow and and improve your partner’s talent function.
Comfortable in managing multiple teams across a variety of different partners - An example; a team of 6-10 Junior/Mid level recruiters across 3-4 Partners.
A hard working and determined attitude.
Ability to train and develop other recruiters into Talent Leads.
Experience in redesigning processes, implementing ATS and strategy planning whilst delivering quality talent solutions tailored to our partners needs.
What you'll be doing?
Embed yourself with some of the most innovative businesses in the UK or European tech space, acting as an internal recruiter by yourself or within a team.
Become the “go-to talent guru” within your client partners business.
Educate on a number of TA subject areas. Examples: diversity, inclusion, equality, corporate responsibility and innovation
Act as the ultimate support system for your direct reports.
Sharing your knowledge on current market trends and sourcing techniques.
Direct line management a team of TAM’s, usually 6-10 people.
Coaching TAM’s on delivery and interactions with their client partners.
1st escalation point when issues arise with your team’s client partners.
Directly source and place roles covering a spectrum of seniority levels.
Use your knowledge of our partner, recruitment needs to create a talent pool to future proof their recruitment needs.
Researching and implementing systems and processes that will positively impact our partners
Identifying and developing TAM’s into Squad Leads & Talent Leads.
You’ll be given both the autonomy and support to make an impact within your partner as well as within Troi - growth opportunities are pretty much limitless!
