Amplience is looking for a developer advocate to join our team! Your role will be to develop and execute a strategy to drive developer engagement with the Amplience platform.

Developer Engagement at Amplience builds developer awareness, defines the developer experience to drive platform adoption, and brings new capabilities of our cloud platform to market. We are relentlessly passionate about helping developers build the next generation of shopping experience with Amplience.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to help shape Amplience’s go to market strategy to enable developers around the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a portfolio of developer programs that attract and engage developers with the Amplience platform
  • Plan, define and develop the Amplience developer portal.
  • Author engaging developer-facing content including blog posts, ad copy, social posts, guides, contributed articles, landing pages, tutorials, and videos
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to craft a unique and compelling developer value proposition for Amplience.
  • Work closely with a range of cross-functional teams including product managers, solutions, sales engineering, marketing and design - to craft, develop and deliver a developer-centric go-to-market strategy.
  • Leverage relevant social channels to drive developer engagement.
  • Increase entrances to, and engagement with, our developer channels (website, developer portal, marketplace, blog, YouTube channel, and docs).
  • Conduct ongoing analysis and insights into content performance
  • Advocate for our existing and prospective users & developers, be informed about our competitive landscape, and become the go-to expert for your product area to help shape the product roadmap and strategy.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Solid understanding of modern methodologies, frameworks and languages such as Jamstack, serverless functions, headless, javascript frameworks such as React, Next.js etc..
  • Experience, deep understanding and love of the CMS and eCommerce technology space.
  • Great development skills - both in creating and explaining software and products
  • Excellent communication skills, this job is about reaching out, listening and distilling information.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in developer evangelism, advocacy or relations roles.
  • Experience working in technology, infrastructure, or platform companies is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of product marketing or go-to-market experience.
  • Experience in B2B marketing and working closely with sales and engineering teams is preferred.
  • Experience, deep understanding and love of the CMS and eCommerce technology space.

You’re naturally inquisitive, enjoy learning, and can capture and distill developer feedback into meaningful marketing campaign ideas and input for our product roadmap.
