FitXR is a fitness technology company working at the cutting edge of virtual reality. We started life in a garden shed in the UK. Fast forward to today, we’re known as the team behind the award-winning VR App FitXR which is one of the top-selling games on the Oculus and Steam stores. In 2020 we raised a $7.5 million Series A, and Series B is just round the corner. This has enabled us to scale, be on track to hit 1M downloads by the end of 2021 and change even more people's lives through virtual reality fitness.

What you’ll do 👀

  • Support, Design/Creative, Social/Community and supporting function teams. To build out highly accountable, aligned and collaborative teams, to deliver against key deliverables
  • Partner with Senior Leaders to build a defensible pipeline of talent, both for current needs and future possibilities.
  • Own your area - Take pride in your area of expertise and educate your key stakeholders
  • Provide valuable qualitative feedback on hiring trends, market analysis and key problem statements to the Talent Manager, working together to provide solutions

OKRs for the Talent team 📈:Most of our OKRs are strategic projects driven by the Talent Manager; but we would love for you to share your views and help drive results:

  • Average 4.8/5 score for onboarding - Driving high probation pass rate, empowering new joiners to be confident in delivering
  • Establish a robust, objective, consistent and tailored FitXR interview process
  • 90% of Talent SLAs delivered
  • cNPS score 30+

Requirements

Tools, Capability & Culture 💻⚡️🤔

  • You understand the Design/Creative market - Whilst this role supports more than one area at FitXR, we need the successful candidate to know how to effectively take design/creative briefs and find talent in the market that aligns. You'll be able to successfully identify 'best in class' work from portfolios that you view.
  • Accountability, collaboration and low ego - We're a small team, working with high-level goals. As such, we're looking for problem solvers who don't need a defined, clear requisition list to work from. Opportunistic hiring, changing priorities and fluidity are all critical here.
  • You use a modern, cloud-based ATS, and you know how to navigate it, manage your pipeline and coach Managers on effective use. You can also interrogate data and run reports. We currently use Workable, but not for long!
  • Screening - You're comfortable talking with market at all levels, qualifying their capabilities vs our requirements. You can also assess culture-add and whether the person on the other end of the webcam will thrive at FitXR.
  • Search tools - You understand how to find the right people, at the right time on the right platforms. LinkedIn Recruiter, Otta, Cord are all open on one of your browser windows as you read this, am I right?

Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:

  • Hiring Manager Screen (1 hour)
  • Final stage interviews - A meeting with a Senior Tech Leader and a Culture interview (2 hours combined, usually back-to-back)
  • Founder Stage (30 minutes)
