Job Description

Whereabouts: We are full-remote, global and hours agnostic! Please be aware that many of our team are based in Europe. This means will generally need to have at least 3 hours of work cross-over with CET and GMT. Read more about our approach to Remote working here.

Interviews: Around 4 hours over a few weeks, including some paid practical work

Salary: Starting from £51,200* plus a 10% bonus

🔍 What we're looking for

We're looking for a motivated individual to join our growing revenue operations team. You are a Swiss army knife of operations with a high degree of flexibility, motivation and work well under pressure. You enjoy thinking out-of-the-box for creative solutions, however, you always support your work with data driven decisions. You have a passion to drive growth, accountability, and scalability through operational efficiency, delivering transversal projects that have a direct impact on the teams’ objectives.

💫 Your mission in your first year at Whereby

This role is focused on improving the operations that bridge the Whereby commercial teams (sales, marketing, and customer success), with a key emphasis on sales operations. Designing, building, and operationalizing processes to support the business revenue growth and enable internal cross-functional stakeholders to improve their ways of working. It will require strong process, workflow management, and stakeholder management experience while also being data self-sufficient to make data-driven decisions.

Your previous experience

  • 1-3 years of demonstrated operations experience in a tech startup environment
  • Data-first problem solver with excellent Excel or data analysis skills
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English required)
  • SQL and basic programming skills is highly regarded (Python or Google scripts)
  • Experience as a Salesforce Admin or used Salesforce as a user

🌟 How we'll measure your success

  • Commercial funnel metrics: Improving the productivity of our cross-functional commercial teams (marketing, sales, and success) by reducing deal cycle, automating touch points and improving visibility
  • Company Revenue: Iterating on our existing ICP
  • Retention and Activation: Contributing to boosting our activation and retention metrics by collaborating closely with Product and Customer Success

Scope of your work

  • Tackle key strategic questions through analytical frameworks and insights to advise the team on key decisions around the end-to-end customer lifecycle experience
  • Engage and collaborate with a number of different cross-functional stakeholders in the business
  • Identify key areas to scale and improve our operational processes

Day-to-day of your role

  • Launch new processes to improve our commercial efficiency, revenue growth, forecasting, sales compensation, segmentation, and more
  • Tackle business challenges by identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions
  • Plan and project lead multiple projects and have the ability to execute in a constantly evolving, complex environment
  • Become an expert in the Whereby operations with a deep understanding of the customer lifecycle
  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting and analysis on key business challenges
  • Own functional business strategies, responsible for monitoring, correcting, and executing business processes
