The mission for this role:

This role will play an integral part in Attest’s growth mission. As Attest aims to boost penetration in the UK, US and other markets, we need a strong brand narrative to differentiate us and increased brand visibility amongst our target audience. Your mission is to grow awareness and fandom via earned channels and thought leadership style content as well as harness and strengthen our brand messaging across the commercial organisation.

This is Attest’s first hire exclusively focused on brand marketing, PR and Comms, with the goal to scale and improve upon our existing lines of activities. We are looking for a bold storyteller who is keen to experiment with original content formats, unique channels and innovative ways to position ourselves.

Your focus will be to:

Grow brand visibility and equity:

  • Manage our PR agency to obtain relevant media features that promote our core messages and drive inbound traffic.
  • Build a thought leadership programme for internal spokespeople to elevate their presence and authority (including speaking opps, podcast appearances, blog and social media engagement).
  • Run organic social for Attest (LinkedIn & Twitter) as a lead generation, brand building and company voice tool.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities that generate hype and engagement for Attest via earned channels and owned content.
  • Build a strong advocate programme amongst our own audiences and other influencing networks.
  • Align with the wider marketing team on campaigns and content creation and own ideation/implementation across earned channels.
  • Measure success through analytical reviews of channel engagement figures, core brand metrics and organic attribution of inbound traffic. Continuously report back to the marketing team.

Ensure strong and differentiated brand messaging

  • Be the brand guardian; owning our tone of voice, style and brand narrative and ensuring consistency of use across the business. This includes review of marketing content, sales collateral and website/ad copy.
  • Liaise with the wider commercial team and create a feedback loop for ongoing assessment of brand messaging efficacy.
  • Run regular tests of our brand assets and always be innovating in line with findings.
  • Run our quarterly brand tracker, interrogate the findings and inform future direction for the business.

We’d love to hear from you if you…

  • Have experience in B2B brand communications in a multi-market and fast-scaling business (at least 4-5 years). Experience in a SaaS organisation is preferred.
  • Can provide real examples of building brands that customers know and love, resulting in increased revenue growth.
  • Are confident across a range of earned channels.
  • Are a bold storyteller with a strong copywriting style.
  • Have the ability to create multiple messages for different channels under one comprehensive brand positioning.
  • Are creative & original, with a willingness to bring forth ideas and drive them to success. You see opportunity where others may not.
  • Take an analytical approach to understanding our audience and measuring the success of different content types, channels and messages.
  • Have a general understanding of the broader marketing funnel (paid, SEO, events).
  • Are comfortable working with senior leadership on thought leadership campaigns.
  • Enjoy working autonomously in an energetic, transparent and collaborative environment.

In-person and remote working balance ...

We are a flexible employer and continue to work with the team on the ground to navigate our way through the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic together.

As a company, we aren’t a fully remote company and place strong emphasis on teams being able to meet, and spend time together in a safe and flexible environment regularly, as well as being able to travel to meet customers when rules and safety considerations permit. We always want to ensure that is balanced against having a healthy approach to flexible working/working from home and nurturing your life outside of work as well as in work.

With that in mind, we have a permanent office location at 25 Holywell Row, London EC2A 4XE**,** London, where our team spend time together on a weekly basis. We don’t set specific rules, but expect folks to spend time with the team in the office on average 3 days per week.
