Job Description

TrueLayer is looking for a data-driven B2B demand leader to help us scale our revenue engine. Reporting directly to our VP Marketing, you will lead a team of demand generation experts to increase brand awareness and demand for TrueLayer across our target industries.

Our Growth Marketing team work closely with Sales and Product Marketing to execute vertical-specific campaigns, driving growth and conversion at all stages of the marketing and sales funnel, using a multi-channel mix and creative growth hacking tactics.

You’ll partner closely with our commercial leaders to develop vertical-specific strategies and frameworks, empowering and mentoring our Growth Marketing team to perform at their best. You will be responsible for managing the growth plan and budget, setting targets, tracking progress, and reporting on overall performance. To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience managing a revenue-focused growth team in a B2B SaaS environment.

You’ll have plenty of support from the wider marketing and commercial team. We are a cross-functional group of generalists, strategists, and creatives. As our Head of Growth Marketing you will:

  • Build a demand marketing engine that can scale across our products, personas, industries, markets, stage of the sales funnel, and business objectives
  • Design and execute impactful annual and quarterly demand plans that influence revenue metrics across the funnel
  • Develop a solid understanding of our ideal customer profile, personas, key markets and their challenges, in order to establish go-to-market best practices
  • Lead and nurture an ambitious growth team, across Vertical Marketing, Digital and Events
  • Identify creative ideas for growth, from new channels to hacking initiatives, to reach target audiences and accelerate adoption globally
  • Partner with the Vertical squads to research and uncover key market insights and data to better segment, target, position, and reach potential customers
  • Work closely with Sales, Content, Design, Brand, Product, Field and Operations to develop and optimise campaigns and activities
  • Work with a diverse marketing channel mix - including media sponsorships, email, paid media, webinars and events
  • Enable Field and Demand teams with self-serve infrastructure, documentation, and training
  • Track and report on all activities, using data to continually optimise campaign performance - this includes calculating CAC and LTV and optimising campaigns for incremental ROI
  • Manage day-to-day operations and troubleshooting
  • Manage the global demand marketing budget

Requirements

What we need from you

  • Proven experience building and scaling a demand generation engine at a SaaS company, with impactful results (lead and opportunity creation, conversion rates, and closed business)
  • Deep domain expertise across demand generation, including go-to-market, abm, content, digital, events, and analytics/reporting
  • A keen focus on metrics, measurement, and optimisation, and can demonstrate how your role contributes to sales pipeline and revenue growth
  • Highly collaborative, and can align with a range of stakeholders across Commercial and Brand
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
