About the role

carwow’s goal is to help consumers navigate all aspects of the car buying journey, whilst also being the most effective sales and marketing partner to car retailers and OEMs. We have already established ourselves as the leading advertising platform for new cars in a short space of time; in 2022 we’re now aiming to also become the best place for our dealer partners to acquire stock, by buying cars directly from consumers. Our ‘Sell Your Car’ product has grown rapidly since the acquisition of Wizzle in mid-2021, helping almost 20,000 consumers sell their vehicles directly to our dealer network.

We’re looking for a talented Head of Account Management to build, develop and scale our SYC Account Management function. The successful candidate will play a huge role in developing and growing this new business unit, whilst being responsible for the success, sentiment and retention of dealer partners on our platform. This will involve:

Requirements

  • Building, developing and leading a high performing team
  • Developing business strategies to deliver continuous growth in platform engagement and client spend
  • Cross-functional collaboration with multiple teams to design and execute initiatives
  • Being the escalation point for your team when challenges arise, and joining client meetings where necessary
  • Defining and owning key client engagement and performance metrics
  • Contributing to targeting and goal setting to align with organisational goals

Requirements

  • Experience in people management
  • Empathetic, positive and ambitious leadership style
  • Experience in client-facing roles, preferably Client Success/Account Management
  • Highly competent with data; able to analyse trends and build narratives with ambiguous datasets
  • Growth mindset
  • Highly collaborative
