The Role – Client Solutions Lead

The Solutions Team sits at the heart of Unmind. It works closely with the Commercial Team and Client Success to make a lasting difference to the culture and performance of employees in our clients and prospects. The function's role is varied - they spend time with clients and prospects, learning what’s really going on in their business, uncovering their assumptions and the risks they face, and reframing their challenges in a way that is solvable through people and technology. We use our passion and knowledge of psychology to propose exciting programmes of work across our solutions that will make a real difference. The team works closely with Product to ensure the Unmind solutions are best in class and meet the needs of our global client base. Whatever the topic, the Solutions team will be empowered and encouraged to put a creative stamp on everything they do. As Client Solutions Lead, you will work with our larger accounts - working directly with the Sales team to convert new business, build trust with clients and bring our solutions to life. You will work closely with the Client Success Team on any closed business, ensuring that our clients' requirements are effectively translated into implementation. As the team builds, there will be opportunities to collaborate with counterparts in our global hubs and to support more junior members of the team.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Discover: Meet with clients and further understand their people and business challenges.
  • Lead: You will be the subject matter expert in the room when it comes to client conversations; drawing upon your knowledge of the product, our success stories and relevant experience in cultural change programmes.
  • Partner: The key to success will be working in partnership with Account Executives, ensuring both parties can flex their muscles in the room and that ways of working are slick, efficient and coordinated
  • Influence: Work with senior business leaders to influence their thinking and help them tackle their most important issues by delivering insights, challenging their assumptions, and bringing psychology and behavioural science to life.
  • Develop Solutions Architecture: Think creatively and strategically to craft proposals, bids and programmes to meet clients’ needs.
  • Grow: Support the business development team on individual client projects and priority client accounts

Requirements

Skills and Experience

We firmly believe that no one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. However, some experience in the following is important for the role.

We're looking for people who have:

  • A background in psychology or another relevant field (behavioural economics, strategy, change, etc) and work in a related environment such as research, learning and development, human resources, behaviour change, or change leadership.
  • People and project leadership experience, who can confidently coordinate programmes of work
  • A strong persuasive communicator, able to talk and write with passion, proficiency and brevity and who can pass on their energy and curiosity to clients
  • Experience of planning and running proposals and pitches with clients, converting new business, who thrives in a client-facing role, builds trust and is happy leading high profile meetings with senior decision-makers, including C-Suite
  • An eloquent and influential relationship builder who understands the corporate environment, ideally from a performance management, leadership, diversity & inclusion, or learning & development lens
