CNC machines are responsible for producing more than $120BN worth of metal components every year, serving every manufacturing vertical from motorsport parts in Formula 1 to satellites in space.

The commercial team
The commercial team at CloudNC is highly motivated and tenacious, they know the future of manufacturing is automation and enjoy partnering with customers across many different industries, including aerospace, defense, and medical to name a few.
They're agile and able to react quickly, working with operations to generate quotes and together on post-sales activity.

Managing the sales cycle end to end, they are success-driven and enjoy the autonomy to achieve goals and measure their own performance.

What to expect
The Sales Administrator is an integral part of the commercial team and supporting the overall sales process. Collaborating with sales management and the rest of the commercial team who are in-house and on the road, you’ll be liaising with our customers on a regular basis ensuring their enquiries and quotes are returned in a timely manner.
You’ll assist with the operational responsibilities of the commercial team some of which include sending requested documents to our customers as well as ensuring our CRM (customer relationship management) system is up to date at all times with sales activity and accurate entries. You'll also interface with other areas of the business for collaboration and information gathering purposes such as our application engineers, operations and people team.
Reporting is a part of this role, so you’ll be working with management and our Chief Commercial Officer to align reporting needs for the team and wider business and then executing this process.
You may be needed to work in our London office on occasions in addition to our Chelmsford factory to collaborate with wider teams.

Being in a sales environment means you need to have a proven track record of working to tight deadlines. We work in a continuous improvement environment and so you’ll have experience in generating ideas for process improvements.
Our customers are incredibly important to us and to the growth of the business. You’ll have had experience in liaising with customers previously through various avenues.
You’ll have fantastic written and verbal communication skills. You value the importance of customer satisfaction and you understand that your efforts to create a seamless customer journey with regular communications is key for good business.
You’ll be exceptional with reporting and have the ability to spot anomalies in datasets.
Administration is a fundamental part of this role, so extensive experience in this is a necessity.
Digital/online competency is a must. Any experience using different software and online tooling is highly desirable. You're able to demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills too.
