Infogrid is helping protect the planet and improve the lives of billions of people by making every building a smart building.

Our goal is to be the global provider for connected devices in smart buildings. We already handle millions of events every day from tens of thousands of sensors and we’d like you to help us scale that by an order of magnitude over the coming months.

The Infogrid mission is a lofty one and you will play a crucial role in developing and driving our communications strategy across the globe in support of our rapid growth and momentum.

As the founding member of our communications team, you will own and define our brand awareness strategy, responsible for creating our narrative and positioning around our impact to help protect the planet.

This is a strategic role where you will be able to build out a lean world class team, but initially you will need to be prepared to get into the weeds. Alongside this, you’ll be managing external agencies to help support media enquiries, projects and speeches or presentations at events.

You will own all external comms from brand awareness to media coverage, ensuring Infogrid’s name is known as the go-to global provider for connected devices in smart buildings.

What we think you’ll need to be successful:

  • Demonstrable experience managing Global Comms streamlined teams at a B2B SaaS business
  • Proven strategic capabilities and ability to develop proactive communications strategies, using an analytical mindset to let data to guide your decisions.
  • Experience developing written materials, including story pitches, messaging guidelines, press releases, Q&As, etc.
  • Skillful at exec leadership comms, industry presentations, and B2B comms - including reaching beyond media relations to reach complex audiences such as facilities managers.
  • Instinctive campaigning mindset with demonstrable capacity to shape and promote a brand’s identity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgement in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, as well as the ability to escalate appropriately.
  • A passion for helping save the planet.
