The Role – Marketing Operations Manager

As our Marketing Operations Manager you will work across the Marketing and Demand Generation teams to ensure excellence and efficiency in all of our internal marketing operations, enabling us to make data-informed decisions that will ultimately support our growth.

The core objective will be to build a world-class Marketing tech-stack and operations strategy that will support Unmind's future growth. The scope of this role includes; Marketing and Demand Generations processes, business insights, management of existing technology and tools, as well as identifying and onboarding appropriate new technology platforms as we grow. This is the first hire in this role and will support the next phase of our growth whilst ensuring we make data-informed decisions about our strategy!

As we continue to scale quickly, the focus and responsibilities of any position can be quite dynamic – but here’s how we initially see your skills and passion coming to life at Unmind:

  • Manage: Oversee the MarTech stack and all technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, lead scoring, web analytics, performance tracking, etc) used to execute and report on marketing programs.
  • Measure: Develop and analyse reports and multi-touch attribution dashboards on marketing sourced/influenced pipeline to optimise marketing performance and budget investment.
  • Plan. Oversee and manage ongoing operational needs of the marketing team, including budgets/forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, campaign tracking, and ongoing reporting
  • Report: Work cross-functionally with Commercial Ops and Finance to develop a holistic view of our revenue funnel from first touch through to closed won with clear attribution of marketing ROI. And to maintain bi-directional flow of data between Hubspot and SFDC.
  • Collaborate: Work with Demand Generation, Sales Development and Sales leadership, and Commercial Ops on the development of an ABM strategy.
  • Build: Identify opportunities to further develop and mature our MarTech stack, working in closely with Marketing and Sales leaders to ensure alignment with growth plans and aspirations.

Skills and Experience

We firmly believe that no-one is the finished article and that there should be learning in every role you do. So some of the role will be learning as you go, and we hope that’s exactly what you are looking for. However, experience in the following is important for the role.

  • Prior experience in marketing operations, with direct knowledge in the B2B software industry.
  • A track record of successfully configuring and managing MarTech systems - extensive knowledge of Hubspot Marketing Suite, Salesforce, Outreach, and other MarTech tools we may look to implement in the future e.g. Marketo, Pardot etc.
  • An understanding and appreciation of how marketing, demand generation, and sales integrate with each other and the wider business to deliver the best prospect/customer experience.
  • Understanding complex topics come easy to you, but you excel just as much in explaining them easily to other.
  • Articulate and direct communicator, both verbal and written– with the confidence to challenge the status quo.
  • You love the data and will leave no stone unturned to tell a true story.
  • Passionate about mental health, tech-for-good, and generally improving people’s lives.
  • Comfortable working in an environment of rapid growth, constant change, and lots of unknowns.
  • Hungry to make Unmind the global category leader of workplace mental health.
