✨ Learnerbly

Who we are

We're a growing team of 60+ and over the last few years we've built a SaaS-enabled learning marketplace curated from 200+ of the best learning providers.

We've decided to become a fully distributed company since 2020 and give our people the choice to decide where they'd like to work by giving them a WFH allowance to set themselves up and an optional co-working Spaces pass for the days they want to connect with the team.

We've just secured Series A investment (!) 🚀 and have started our journey to help unlock everyone's full potential! We're about to press play on our next phase of growth as a business and we want YOU to be part of it!

Our Mission, Vision, and Purpose

  • Our mission is to be the most inspiring learning platform for people and organisations around the world.
  • Our vision is to create a world where everyone unlocks their full potential
  • We believe everyone can make a difference.

🙌 The role

People Experience at Learnerbly

The People Experience (PX) team at Learnerbly are on a mission to create the best place anyone will ever want to work. We're already a team of 5 and will continue to grow in 2022 👀

This role is ideal for someone who already knows People Ops like the back of their hand, and is comfortable keeping the lights on, but is looking to stretch their People Partnering muscles in a meaningful way. We're thinking of this as a hybrid role!

It'll play a key part in delivering the best possible experience to our people, even before they start on Day 1, after they leave, and everything in between!

This role will report into our PX Design Lead, Marie Krebs.

What you'll be getting up to:

  • Delivering smooth People support for all employee lifecycle experiences, from pre-boarding to offboarding. Think customer support!
  • Protecting all our People facing information (e.g. Notion) and data integrity in our tooling (e.g. HiBob), so all our information is kept completely accurate.
  • Embedding change initiatives in our teams that our PX Design team co-create with you.
  • Supporting our manager population, coaching and developing them so they can learn and grow collectively as a team in their own right.
  • Initiating our 'Learnerbly Listening' activity (engagement) in Leapsome, using regular data points to drive action within the teams you work with.
  • Caring passionately, and advocating for diversity, equity, inclusion + belonging, intentionally building this into the people lifecycle and company culture.
  • Being the face of PX and first point of contact for all people-related questions; answering at lightning speed (or at least in real time 😅).
  • Be the superstar of People systems, tools, process, admin and coordination, your knowledge will be second to none and you’ll be able to guide others.
  • Navigating our transition to fully distributed working (no hybrid or full-time office vibes over here 😅!)
  • Challenging and enhancing our processes to optimise opportunities that maximise the People Experience.
  • When you think you're done, you'll be making it even better.

This role will be a great fit if:

  • You have solid experience in a People Ops role where you've had to support the employee lifecycle, and have the knowledge to operate completely autonomously.
  • You're able to use data to equip leaders with the insights they need to make decisions and plans.
  • You can spot a typo a mile off, and pride yourself on your attention to detail.
  • You're a clear, and effective communicator, you know how to treat everyone like a customer.
  • Plate spinning comes naturally to you, you're able to prioritise your own workload while dealing with curveballs that come your way.
  • You're great at building relationships across all levels of an organisation (you'd have no trouble telling someone in our leadership team what you need from them to get your job done).
  • You constantly find yourself looking for ways to improve everything and question the status quo.
  • You want to develop your own skills as a people manager.
  • You're ready to throw out traditional HR, and embrace People Experience as a Product. 🚀

It'd be a bonus if:

  • You already have experience with People tools like HiBob, Leapsome, and/or TeamTailor.
  • You're a Notion, Gsuite and/or Slack guru.
  • You have knowledge of Agile practices and how they can be leveraged in the People space.
  • You've had experience in ambiguous, and unstructured environments that move quickly because we're building and iterating our processes as we grow, and we're growing fast!

Research shows that some people are less likely to apply for a role unless they are 100% qualified. Your experience, skills and passion will set you apart so tell us about your achievements, irrespective of whether they are personal or work-related, tell us about your journey, and about what you learnt.

So, if this role excites you, don't let our role description hold you back, get applying!

    💛 Our Values

We look for people who share our values and can add to our culture. Values are shared beliefs that guide our decision-making, culture is how we function as a group and how we live our values as individuals.

    • Be your authentic self: This means finding the intersection between what you love and what you’re good at, so you can be yourself at work.
    • Set the destination, own the journey: "Be the change you want to see in the world." Think big, speak up, take ownership. We believe in learning by experimenting and failing fast: use your creativity and resourcefulness to find solutions to problems you encounter.
    • Invite everyone to dance: “Diversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance.” We look for people who share our values and contribute to our culture. Diversity alone is not enough. We believe by being diverse and inclusive we make better decisions.
    • Practice heartfelt, radical candor: We know seeking radically candid feedback can be hugely powerful. We proactively seek and give feedback to reveal blind spots and accelerate growth.

🌈 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

At Learnerbly, we're committed to cultivating an environment that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. We are a global community and we believe our unique qualities should be celebrated as they are critical to our innovation. It's essential to us that you bring your authentic self to work every single day, no matter your age, ethnicity, religion, citizenship, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, caring responsibilities, neurodiversity, or otherwise. Inclusion isn't just an initiative at Learnerbly. We strive to embed it not just into our values but throughout our entire culture.
