We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team and to provide coordination and support to our Finance Department. You will assist the Financial Controller to maintain effective financial records; for the preparation of company’s management-interim and year-end accounts. You will also import invoices for suppliers & raising invoices for customers, reconcile Bank accounts, maintain accounting records and complete basic bookkeeping tasks.

In this position you will have responsibilities as detailed below, but also be expected to change with the environment as it evolves. A positive attitude and desire to create a good culture is a must to join a team committed to the success of Made Tech.

Requirements

  • Import invoices from suppliers.
  • Ensure that credit terms are met for both debtors and creditors.
  • Completing bank reconciliations.
  • Entering all finance related information into the company's accounting software (Xero)
  • Processing business/employees expenses.
  • Managing day-to-day transactions.
  • Dealing with finance queries across the business.
  • Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team.
  • To ensure that all procedures outlined are completed accurately and within the deadlines.

Person Specifications

We are looking for somebody who is studying towards their professional accounting qualification. You will need to have strong google sheet skills, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, organised person and a can-do attitude. Any practice experience or previous commercial experience in a similar role preferred.
