Job Description

Reporting to Threads Styling’s CEO, the Senior Vice President Marketing will be a well-rounded, highly impactful marketing leader, who brings a proven track record of success within high-growth digital/multi-channel businesses and successful experience leading effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals.

As SVP Marketing you will develop, champion and instil a rigorous, analytical and data-driven approach to all marketing activities, and ensure that the digital marketing mix is optimised at all times, across channels and regions. You will be up to speed on the latest technologies, platforms and best practices, and constantly be pushing the boundaries in order to maximise ROI. You will also be a senior partner to stakeholders across different functions, including Sales, Brands, Operations & Product.

This is a pivotal moment to join a growing business with a proven model and an innovative brand, to help lead the company through the next phase of growth. A key leadership role for Threads, the SVP Marketing will lead the Marketing organisation through growth across three key areas:

  • Content Marketing: Lead the social content team and strategy, as well as expand the Threads’ content franchises and channels across all global regions. Ensure content delivers results, to increase engagement, conversion and deliver sales. Set Marketing KPIs across channels that are in line with the business goals and prioritise and lead the team towards results.
  • Performance & Brand Marketing: Build a world-class performance marketing function from the ground up, leveraging the mix of industry best practices and Threads unique social commerce business model. Deliver results through successful campaigns that lead to a strong CAC and LTV that is in line with the business goals. Lead global growth strategy across all relevant brand and digital channels (Paid Social, CRM, Brand).
  • Marketing Team & Operations: A critical part of delivering both performance and content expansion is focusing on building the team and relevant operations, to increase productivity to deliver immediate results.

Requirements

You Will:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase customer acquisition & growth, across growth, brand and content channels.
  • Set current and long-term goals for internal teams
  • Build and manage a complete Marketing department budget
  • Monitor all marketing activity and campaigns, to optimise and deliver successful results
  • Prioritise marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
  • Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Provide guidance and ideas to organise effective marketing events
  • Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company’s objectives

You Have:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with ability to make difficult decisions
  • Proven work experience as a SVP or VP of Marketing or other senior Marketing role in a high growth environment
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns to drive Ecommerce sales.
  • Experience overseeing performance, brand & CRM marketing channels to drive sales growth
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
