Account and Delivery Manager

Job Description

We are a high-growth Series-B InsurTech start-up using data and machine learning to revolutionize the insurance industry. You will be joining a strong and mission driven team, working to deliver a customer facing product that fundamentally changes the way insurers evaluate risk, enabling them to move from highly manual workflows to digital risk flows. Cytora’s Risk Stream is a serverless and cloud native SaaS platform that automates the digitisation, evaluation and decisioning of risks for commercial insurers. Our product drastically improves the working lives of our users, enables our customers to cover more risks, more competitively.

The Role

This role is a key customer delivery position bringing together our customers, our platform and our core capabilities to ensure that our deployments are successful. You will utilise your stakeholder management experience to support customer engagement and growth but will predominantly use your project management expertise to manage resources both internally and externally to ensure initial deployments are successful and set up with appropriate governance and benefit measures in place .

You may also find yourself engaging with 3rd party companies including other technology providers and consultancy businesses as part of customer engagement and deployment.

Deliverables

  • Ensure that we deploy successfully into the customers’ business
  • Design and run the delivery to achieve this, within the agreed guardrails of platform capability and pre-defined processes
  • Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally
  • Translate customer requirements into product developments and tech/ data requirements with internal teams
  • Agree and manage milestones, timeline, critical path, risks and benefits
  • Present the Cytora proposition to a broad range of people from C suite to mid management and front end customer facing teams
  • Explore, find and deliver on opportunities to grow our footprint with a customers’ business

Requirements

Your experience/ knowledge

  • Strong understanding of the commercial insurance market - you do not need to know the finer details of each product wording but a sense of what the key products do is helpful
  • Strategic awareness of how an insurance company operates e.g. how do sales, underwriting, offshore admin and operations, claims, accounts, agency, etc fit together
  • Basic understanding of the key components of an insurance company’s IT architecture
  • Knowledge of the insurance value chain from customer to broker to insurer and reinsurer
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and how it shapes the way things need to be done
  • Interest in technology and data

Typical background

  • Likely to come from an insurance company, brokerage or insurtech business
  • Likely to have at least 3-4 years experience
  • Experience in running multiple projects across a range of delivery methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Prince2)

Location

Cytora are a remote-first company. For this role you can be based anywhere in the UK or EU, provided you 1. have fluent spoken and written English, and 2. have the permanent right to work without requiring visa sponsorship.
