About the role - Who are you?

We are looking for a Commercial Finance and FP&A Manager, who is excited to join a fast growing company in AI and technology. As part of the Commercial Finance and FP&A team, you will join a team that is passionate about numbers, data, and how to use them to generate insights and takes pride in improving our business. We support and influence the organization by providing a holistic and financial perspective, we are the trusted business advisors. We collaborate with our partners to ensure leaders have the most up to date and reliable information, and work with them to make sure we are making the best possible decisions.

Key Responsibilities - What you will be doing?

  • Build trusted relationships with your business partners to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions driving business improvements and cost reductions
  • Identify risks, evaluate impact, propose changes, and implement improvements to remediate gaps
  • Drive forward a data-driven approach to decision-making across the organisation by exploring and generating insights and making recommendations
  • Deep analytical support for the Finance and leadership team including financial modelling, scenario building, developing models for customer acquisition and lifetime value analysis and ROI analysis on product development and marketing
  • Building out and monitoring Management Information dashboards, SaaS KPIs, performance and other metrics and providing commercial guidance as needed
  • Running the forecasting cycle including liaising with all teams in the business, and owning the forecasting tools
  • Assisting with board decks and other board presentations
  • Support systems and automation initiatives via wider finance function, such as adaptive planning for FP&A processes and BI initiatives for automation and reporting


Key Skills and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience - experience in commercial finance and FP&A would be an advantage
  • A qualified accountant, MBA, CFA or equivalent.
  • Experience in either investment banking, consulting or high growth tech businesses is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Clear communicator and excellent at connecting and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Organised with project management skills & proven experience getting things done with quality.
  • Process and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in conducting analysis with excel/google sheets would be beneficial
  • Good to have but not essential:
  • Salesforce
  • Workday Adaptive planning
  • Experience in using and or creating reports on systems such as Salesforce, Tableau/Looker or other BI systems
