Job Description

Infogrid is helping protect the planet and improve the lives of billions of people by making every building a smart building.

Our goal is to be the global provider for connected devices in smart buildings. We already handle millions of events every day from tens of thousands of sensors and we’d like you to help us scale that by an order of magnitude over the coming months.

Sustainability is at our heart; buildings account for 39% of global carbon emissions and we’re creating real solutions to impact this!

We are still early in our journey but have already achieved a lot; we raised a successful series A funding round, grew 5x in employee numbers within 12 months, and voted one of the top 10 most flexible places to work.

As an EA to members of the C-Suite you, and the EA to the CEO will be uniquely positioned to work alongside the inspirational leaders at the top of Infogrid, working on a range of tasks and projects that support Infogrid’s vision and take some of the weight off of their shoulders to leverage their time best.

A good Executive Assistant will know that their role is not easily defined, the work is varied and challenging, but there’s always enjoyment and the output has an incredible impact on the execs you support. Here’s a flavour of what sort of things the role encompasses:

The role:

  • Support exec’s business priorities and responsibilities, challenge and support where needed to enable continuous scaling
  • Spotting opportunities to create leverage for execs across a wide range of business areas, and supporting them in those responsibilities
  • Develop a high level of trust with those you assist, working closely with their teams to enable a flow of information, and touch points
  • Corresponding, and acting on behalf of your execs with key stakeholders. Including representing execs at team meetings
  • Helping managing the business planning, and overall roadmapping processes as well as other operational tasks that will unblock the C-Suite, and supercharge growth across the organisation
  • Working in tandem with the EA to the CEO, supporting each other in your roles to enable the C-Suite as a whole to function on a higher level

What we think you'll need to be successful:

  • Experience working as an EA in a fast-paced environment and supported multiple executives at a VP level or above ideally C level leadership in a high growth start up
  • Experience working with board communications, as well as being a face and representative of the C-suite to the wider team
  • Phenomenal prioritisation and organisation skills, experience managing complex diaries and inboxes across time zones and with senior external stakeholders
  • Be naturally proactive when it comes to looking ahead, spotting and resolving issues before they are even a thing, and able to support the wider strategic thinking of the execs
  • Be incredibly ambitious, and able to hit the ground running to enable impact from day one with excellent communication skills and a sharp eye for detail
  • Understanding of Excel/Google Sheets is a bonus!
