The Technical Partner Manager plays a crucial role in building and growing our Partner network by supporting in-flight sales opportunities, educating new Partners, and supporting integrations in our Partner Marketplace. You love solving complex problems and are always looking to learn about the newest technology trends in eCommerce.

As an Amplience Partner Engineer, you will support our SI & Consulting partners through the lifecycle of the sales process; from qualifying and solutioning support, proof-of-concept creation and technical training, to preparing Partners for project implementation. You will support our ISV and Tech partners to solution and support integrations and Marketplace offerings.

You are an educator; enabling new Partners on the Amplience Solutions and supporting qualifying and solutioning active sales opportunities and ensuring Partners are following technology best practice when implementing Amplience through training and one-on-one communication.

You are an innovator; working with ISV and Technology Partners to create new integrations that extend the Amplience solution and solve specialized business problems.

You are a problem-solver; supporting in-flight Partner opportunities and projects to answer questions as they arise.

We are looking for someone who can build relationships and can effectively convey and relate ideas to others, who has a passion for the newest trends in eCommerce technology specializing in MACH and Headless projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to the Amplience Partner network throughout the entire sales cycle
  • Develop and present demonstrations of the Amplience solutions to our Partner network
  • Deliver technical training and on-demand enablement for Amplience Partners
  • Consult and support Partner team to qualify and solution Amplience opportunities
  • Produce proof of concepts (POCs) with our Technology and ISV Partners
  • Provide expertise in the company’s solutions and how they can be applied to solve business needs
  • Implement the company`s solutions with customer data in rapid deployment, proof of concept and client scenarios.
  • Serve as liaison between clients and Partners and convey customer requirements to Product Management teams to build and extend new features.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Relevant university degree
  • Min 3-5 years experience as a Sales/Solution Engineer/Architect for a high growth organization
  • Experience in eCommerce / Retail / SaaS
  • Extensive experience in a Technical Support / Pre-Sales role
  • Knowledge of and using Web Services
  • “Experience with front end technologies”: RESTful APIs, JSON, Webhooks, React, Vue, Node etc.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and headless value.
  • Experience / Knowledge of eCommerce platforms.
  • Some creative knowledge to put together compelling demonstrations / slideware / process diagrams / architecture diagrams.
  • Exposure to project / program managements (this is for process)
  • A background in or deep familiarity with the Enterprise Content Management space, demonstrating deep industry knowledge and ability to elevate conversations to business need and be viewed as a trusted advisor.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as directed by sales management
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others
  • Vibrant, self-motivated and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done
