Job Description
TrueLayer is looking for a marketing leader with extensive e-commerce experience who sees the big picture of where payments are heading. This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies as we look to increase the number of merchants that use TrueLayer to transform the way their customers pay.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing our e-commerce marketing strategy with the aim of winning market share and influencing revenue at all stages of the funnel. You’ll focus on creating awareness and demand for TrueLayer within the merchant space, working closely with sales to define the sector focus and priorities.
Using your industry connections and expertise, you will connect us to the right brand partners and ensure we are developing a compelling value proposition that works for different types of merchants across the UK and Europe.
Who we are:
At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.
To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan, Dublin and Sydney. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Cazoo and Trading 212… though we’re not stopping here.
Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new territories all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your help to get us there.

- Work with our Partnerships team, Product Marketing, Content, and Sales to build out a compelling sales and marketing toolkit including demos and presentations
- Work with our Content, PR, and Comms teams to develop messaging and thought leadership activity
- Provide specialist support and expertise to the wider organisation
- Turn merchants into ambassadors for the TrueLayer brand, who recommend us to their customers and their wider network
- Help to lead and develop other team members, supporting their professional growth.
