Job Description

Our Commercial team is scaling and so our Commercial Operations team must scale too. We are the guardians of the team organisational and operational structure, setting up the client-facing teams for success and enabling them to reach their revenue targets.

This is a rare opportunity to help one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintechs to shape it’s global data strategy, influencing Commercial leadership through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for threading the whole of our verticals and countries information together, identifying trends from internal and external sources, and accordingly, developing key management reporting. You will work in collaboration with the Ops Analysts for specific vertical/country requirements, while also setting the standard and best practices for data maintenance. You will be the ultimate accountable owner of our the dashboards and reports. This is a highly visible role that will interface with a number of key internal stakeholder groups including senior leadership, Finance, Legal as well as Product.

Who we are:

At TrueLayer, we’re building a global open banking platform that’s changing how money moves and so much more. We make payments and refunds instant, account data accessible and verification seamless — all so innovators in every industry can build better financial experiences for their users.

To date, we’ve raised $270 million from world-renowned investors including Stripe, Tiger Global, Addition and Tencent. We’ve got offices in London, Milan, Dublin and Sydney. And we’re trusted by industry leaders like Revolut, Cazoo and Trading 212… though we’re not stopping here.

Our vision is a financial system that works for everyone. To make that happen, we’re creating original and innovative products that will remove the friction from finance for good. We’re seriously scaling our infrastructure, we’re entering new territories all the time, we’re cornering a whole new category — and we’d like your help to get us there.

The key areas of focus for this role are:

  • Tech stack: Monitoring and automating our E2E customer process as well as improve CRM hygiene
  • Operations: Provide training and facilitate onboarding for new joiners, write playbooks and guidelines, career and performance management
  • Process optimisation: Ongoing review of our best practices/processes and planning of large-scale or incremental enhancements
  • Performance and Strategy: Designing and implementing accurate, timely, and insightful reports against our target and strategic initiatives and deriving key insights for decision-making
  • As our Commercial Data Analyst you will:

    • Interrogate, interpret, and visualise large volumes of data and create bespoke messaging synthesising this information for various audiences
    • Lead and drive the effective use of our technology, most importantly our CRM (HubSpot) - developing dashboards, data models, and forecasting, implementing automation, and workflows where needed
    • Provide high quality analytical input to support the optimisation and automation of existing processes to create greater efficiency (e.g. self-serve dashboards, etc)
    • Set up data governance processes across the org and help mentor the Ops analysts to be the data stewards
    • Continuously seek opportunities to challenge and improve current business processes
    • Recommend and integrate new tooling to meet business needs, problem-solve, and/or further improve the quality, analysis, and/or visualisation of data
    • Build functional and collaborative relationships with internal teams across TrueLayer to support analytical and operational challenges - including with our Data Analytics team
