CREATIVE OPERATIONS
We're a creative family, building copy, data and visual assets for each corner of the FARFETCH Ecommerce Platform. We are dedicated to providing gold standard imagery, content and production services for our partners and creating an engaging on-site experience for our customers.
LONDON
Our office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub. Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working. When you're not doing what's never been done, you can enjoy a team lunch on our large outdoor terrace, or join a yoga class in our dedicated studio.
THE ROLE
Reporting into the Browns Content Lead, you will write innovative and engaging product descriptions, category copy and brand bios adhering to the Browns tone of voice, style guidelines and SEO best practice. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to specialist category guides.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Write product descriptions across all Browns categories including Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Beauty, Accessories and Home
- Review your products in the CMS and on the live site
- Write category copy and brand bios, clearly communicating the USP of the brand to the customer
- Work to daily targets
- Keep guides to your specialist category updated with any changes
- Assist with site audits
- Stay up to date on fashion industry developments, designer information and new brands
- Attend relevant brand training sessions and present back to the team
- Contribute to team meetings and writers' workshops
- Assist the Browns Copy Lead and Content Lead with ad hoc projects and requests as required
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a writing background, ideally in a fashion e-commerce environment
- Degree in English or related subject
- Strong grasp of spelling and grammar
- Experienced within luxury retail, with a sound knowledge of luxury fashion, designers and brands
- Able to adapt tone of voice across different categories including Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear, Beauty, Accessories and Home
- Familiar with SEO best practices
- Competent using different content management systems
- Able to showcase a good understanding of garment and accessory construction
