Made Tech are looking for an Interim Senior HR Manager / Head of People to join their team.


You will manage the day to day running of a small people team, improving HR processes and partnering with Senior Management and Leadership on people matters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team management of 5
  • Overall responsibility for HR Operations, including reporting & analytics, policies & processes
  • Actively managing our continuously changing culture as we scale and embedding our core values
  • Representing the People function and people related issues at Leadership level
  • hands on, providing day-to-day operational and strategic People support, as well as leading on key projects within the business


There are a number of pieces of work that need attention in the People function. The specific projects are to be confirmed and will depend on internal progress over the next few months. Many of our processes and ways of working need to be reviewed in order to meet the company's rapid growth over the next 3 years.

We’re therefore looking for a true HR Generalist that is adaptable to changing requirements and has strong broad HR experience. A key focus for the leadership team has been on retention which involves a number of work streams we may prioritize.

  • Roll out of new HR platform for 2022
    • Implementation and embedding
  • Line Management & Performance Management
  • Career progression & Succession planning
  • Org Design
  • A review and update of HR processes and policies

About you

It is important that you have experience working in an incredibly fast paced environment, where passion and creativity is primary and you have to build the structure and put processes in place.

Experience with responsibility for large HR projects, rolled out and implemented end to end.


  • Experience working with a scaling or medium sized business at Leadership level (200+ employees)
  • Part of a leadership team in previous roles
  • Servant leadership, mentoring/coaching and development of teams
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Highly adaptable to changing priorities
  • Change Management and Communication
  • Broad based senior HR partnering expertise across Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Policies and Procedures design and implementation, Benefits and Reward, Organisational Design and Performance Management
  • Ability to interpret business goals and objectives into HR Strategy
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner with all levels within the business
  • Data driven - Uses data in their day to day roles to inform strategic decisions, influence and monitor traction/success of key projects
