📍 WHEREABOUTS: Flexible, possibility to WFH or come into the office. We’d expect an initial 2 days in the office (Victoria) with the Sales team for the first few months as you get onboarded.

💰 SALARY: Starting from £35,000 (base salary) + OTE

  • We're a London-based Tech for Good startup disrupting the old school way of employee volunteering. We’ve just raised our pre-seed round so you’ll be joining at a really exciting stage of our growth!

  • Our approach reimagines volunteering. We match employees with unique skills-based volunteering opportunities at exciting non-profits and startups.

  • We’ve experienced fantastic traction since launch in 2019 and are currently onboarding some of the UK’s biggest and most innovative companies, with the aim of delivering over £420m of value via 600,000 hours to organisations changing the world over the next 5 years.

  • We're launching the next version of our platform in Q3 2021 and are excited to be taking Matchable to the next level by scaling our client base, becoming a brand recognised for the quality of our projects, the quality of our service and our game-changing work!


  • The end goal of this role is to get as many companies as possible to sign up to Matchable and make their (and our!) biggest impact! 

  • You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle, reaching out to companies with the goal of getting a meeting, demonstrating the Matchable platform, closing and onboarding new companies. This role will be pivotal for us as we continue to grow and turn Matchable into the go-to volunteering platform. We won’t lie: there will be a lot of ‘no’s’ and people not responding, but also lots of wins that we can celebrate together!

  • Your success (and commission!) will be based on results. In particular, new companies that have signed up to the Matchable platform.


  • You can’t get a degree in sales (!) so if you haven’t been to university, we don’t mind at all. We’re looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running. So, we’re asking applicants to have:

    • A minimum of 3 years experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a closing role.

    • End to end sales experience from lead gen to closing (ideally with a longer sales cycle).

    • Experience using a CRM system, managing a pipeline of deals and reporting on key metrics (Hubspot is a plus). 

    • Demonstrable experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders in a variety of positions and excellent level of customer care.

    • Experience in nurturing deals/prospects. 

    • Skilled in identifying new business opportunities and happy initiating conversations.

    • Previously selling a B2B platform to HR/People teams would be a bonus.

  • While Matchable has already seen 781% growth in 2021, we need more sales people to help us reach our goals. You will become part of a tight knit team of highly passionate people. It’s definitely a startup and it's definitely scrappy, so we’re looking for someone who can deal with the highs and lows! We’re also not perfect, so we’re always keen to test new ideas that will help us grow faster.
