SCOPE AND IMPACT

Accountable for supporting project leads across all aspects of project delivery, you are the glue that ensures the team have everything they need to do their best work and project goals are achieved within agreed constraints (customer outcomes, budget, schedule, quality). Additionally you will work closely with the COO & Head of Delivery to make sure all Delivery operations are taken care of and that we’re creating an environment where our people thrive to consistently achieve successful project outcomes.  This role would really suit somebody looking to make the switch from PMO into delivery management or an operationally minded delivery manager.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting project delivery across one or multiple engagements: 
  • - Assisting with scoping, estimating, pricing and writing SoWs. 
  • - Ensure all aspects of internal governance are undertaken including keeping financial forecasts and resource allocations up to date, preparing weekly status reports, monitoring and reporting of project financials, scheduling post project reviews.
  • - Support the project lead with establishing ways of working, project cadences & rituals, preparing client facing reports and updates, risk & issue management, owning the tooling on projects, managing 3rd parties. 
  • - You may also lead a project end-end on smaller engagements under £100k undertaking the above as well as being the main client point of contact and ultimately accountable for successful project delivery.
  • Consulting Operations
  • - Act as the link between project delivery teams and consulting operations helping ensure data is accurate, supporting the head of resource with report creation and continually seeking ways to optimise and improve delivery operations, making sure processes & controls are documented and executed effectively across the business.
  • - Help ensure our ways of working are documented and up to date on the Notion Wiki
  • New business support
  • - Support with scoping & estimating, proposal writing and RFP responses.

What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge about  building new customer facing propositions & delivering projects with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to play a hybrid role across delivery manager, scrum master & PMO analyst  in order to be able to support the team on  work from proposal through to live in market products.
  • You have a good working knowledge of  all things delivery, knowing when to challenge and how to optimise performance to deliver results.
  • An understanding and appreciation of agile ways of working (KanBan, Scrum, Lean). Whilst we are not wedded to a particular methodology, you will need knowledge of them in your locker and an understanding of how and when to use them.
  • Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders in all situations, when to escalate and when to trust your instincts.
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and organisational skills that ensure deadlines are met and goals achieved.
  • Know your way around a Statement of Work, pricing and ongoing project financial management.
  • Consultancy or digital agency background with FS/Fintech experience being a bonus. 
  • Collaborative attitude, and someone who thrives in results driven, methodical, pragmatic environments.
