LEGAL

We are an award-winning full service in-house Legal, Ethics and Compliance function. We're based in the UK, Russia, Portugal, China, Italy, UAE and the US. We provide leadership and advice on strategic projects across all business units, whilst developing our role as an integrated partner within the business to make sure FARFETCH goes from strength to strength.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Deputy Company Secretary,you will provide administrative support and assist the Farfetch Company Secretarial team in managing the provision of services to the group's subsidiaries, boards & committees and the wider business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help with group subsidiary management, including maintenance of statutory books (both UK and overseas) to ensure and accurate statutory filings and support with incorporation of new subsidiaries and management of annual company health-check process
  • Support entity rationalisation process as the need arises and ensure group structure chart is kept updated and provided to stakeholders.
  • Draft basic board resolutions for subsidiary companies including approval of annual reports and accounts and assist with board support process for Annual General Meetings and committee.
  • Manage all KYC requests and maintain up-to-date records and help manage the group global compliance calendar
  • Support with the execution and completion of notarisation/legalisation of company and director information requests
  • Assist Company Secretarial team with fresh service requests, seek guidance where required
  • Arrange approval and payments of Company Secretary related invoices and manage company secretarial templates, schedules, login details, folders and document.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A relevant degree qualification and/or ICSA part-qualified or keen to work towards ICSA qualification
  • Experience using company secretarial software such Diligent, Blueprint entity management (or equivalent)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to organise work that may include a diverse range of issues and tasks with integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting needs, manage a high volume of work and progress matters expeditiously
  • Strong MS Office skills essential
